Exclusive: Suzuki GSX-S750 launched at Rs 7.50 lakh, bookings open

After quite a wait of almost a year, Suzuki has finally launched the new GSX-S750 in the Indian market with price starting at Rs 7.50 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has already started the bookings on the same and deliveries will commence within a week.

The on-road pricing of the new GSX-S750 in Delhi comes close to Rs 8.30 lakh, which makes it rub shoulders with the Kawasaki’s street naked, Z900. At this price point, GSX-S750 also competes against other established rivals such as the Triumph Street Triple S and Ducati Monster 797.

Since the middleweight street naked segment is on the rise in India, all the major motorcycle manufacturers have already laid out their best possible products for this segment. Also, the Austrian motorcycle company, KTM will be launching its 790 Duke in India by late 2019 which (if not by price point) will compete in the same segment since it puts out performance very close to bikes of this category.

Suzuki GSX-S 750 engine and specifications –

Talking about the Suzuki GSX-S750, the bike promises quite a show since it comes powered with a 759cc inline-four DOHC liquid cooled engine which delivers heathy power figures in the form of 110bhp at 10,500rpm. The bike weighs close to 213 kg (wet), which though might not make it the lightest bike of its segment.
