2017 KTM 390 Duke

The 2017 KTM 390 Duke has been upgraded from the ground up, and the changes have made the bike even better in all senses. It gets a new sub frame, new body design, new front headlights, new digital meter console with smartphone connectivity, new exhaust that makes the engine Euro IV compliant and many more upgrades. BMW G310R

The bike was expected to be launched in the late 2016 but due to certain hiccups, the company shifted the launch date to early 2017. The small German beast runs on a 313cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine and delivers around 34bhp of power. It will face a serious competition from bikes such as the KTM 390 Duke, newly launched Bajaj Dominar 400 and the upcoming Yamaha MT-03. Expected a price tag of near Rs 1.80 lakh on the bike.

TVS Akula 310

The bike has been built on the platform of the above bike. It shares the same engine and other parts from the BMW G310R. The difference is, it will be fully faired sports bike instead of a mean street naked. It will be sold as a TVS product instead of a BMW and that will make it more affordable than the latter. Expect the bike to be out by mid-2017. The bikes like KTM RC200, Pulsar RS200 ABS, and Honda CBR 250R will be a direct competitor to the TVS Akula 310. When launched it will have a price tag of near Rs 1.60 lakh.

Yamaha MT-03

The bike is already present in the international market and now the company has made some solid agendas to launch the same in the Indian market and they don’t plan on delaying it. Benelli Tornado 300

The bike was earlier seen at the 2016 Autoexpo alongside other Benelli bikes. It has been built on the same platform as the TNT 300 but comes with a full fairing to make it look sportier and certainly more attractive. It will surely not be a cheap product and get ready to shower at least Rs 3.40 lakh on this bike. Expected launch date of Tornado 300? June 2017!

Benelli TRK 502

One of the most interesting bikes in this list, but still not much information present on it as such. It’s sure one of the straight competitors to the Kawasaki Versys 650 but will stand in a much more affordable segment than the other mid-weight adventure bikes present in India today. Expected launch date and price on the Benelli TRK 502? Last quarter of 2017 and in the price bracket of Rs 5 lakh.
