After displaying the new revolutionary Z650 at the Milan show earlier this year, Kawasaki Motors launched the bike in the Indonesian market recently. The company launched the bike at IDR 159.9 million, which comes close to Rs 8.15 lakh. The company also displayed the Z900 earlier this year at EICMA which along with the Z650 will head to India very soon. We hope the manufacturer will launch these bikes in the Indian market by mid-2017.
Talking about the upgrades, the all new Z650 is a brand new bike in terms of visuals and features when compared to the ongoing Kawasaki ER6n. The bike comes new frame which is also seen in the Kawasaki Ninja 650 2017, a new meter console and upgraded looks that follow ‘Z’ family design. The bike is set to replace the ER6n and when launched we expect it to hit the price tag of Rs 6 to Rs 6.5 lakh.
The bike comes with the same 650cc, parallel-twin engine which delivers 69bhp and 72Nm of torque. We also expect Kawasaki to launch the ABS std. version in the Indian market. Stay tuned for more updates.
