The Pune-based motorcycle making company, Bajaj Auto has officially launched the most awaited Pulsar 220 facelift in India priced at Rs 91,201 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new facelift model is Rs 2,274 costlier than the outgoing Pulsar 220. The new Pulsar 220 facelift is BS-IV compliant and is also new in terms of visuals. The bike gets a refreshed paint scheme, new heat shield sits on the exhaust and matte black finish just looks astonishing on the bike. The engine now comes finished in matte grey colour while the meter console now lights up in blue backlight.
The engine remains the same as the 220cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine which churns out 21bhp of power and 19Nm of torque. The engine like previously comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The bike is launched in colour schemes including red/black and blue/white. The Bajaj Pulsar on-road price is Rs 1.03 lakh (Delhi). It directly competes with bikes such as Yamaha Fazer Version 2.0, Hero Karizma, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Suzuki Gixxer SF. Stay tuned.
