Next Generation Suzuki Hayabusa in the making

The Dhoom bike, Suzuki Hayabusa has been India’s most famous sportsbike. The current generation Busa has been around for quite some time now but as per evolving auto technology, the Japanese automaker is reportedly working on the new age Hayabusa. The bike will see heavy upgrades in terms of overall electronics and features, while the looks, on the other hand, will be based on the ongoing bike only.


The current generation bike derives its power from the 1340cc, four cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine churns out blistering 194 bhp of maximum power and 155Nm of peak torque. When it comes to performance, the bike has set standards for other to follow and it is still counted as one of the most legendary bikes ever built. The bike carries a cult fan following not only in India but around the globe. Recently, the company shifted to CKD route and so the bike is now assembled in the Manesar plant near Delhi which has resulted in a price dip of the bike.


Suzuki Hayabusa Price in India 

The Hayabusa now retails at a price of Rs 13.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Busa is expected to make its world debut by the end of 2017 and while head to India soon after that.
