One of the most awaited motorcycles of this year in India is the Bajaj Dominar 400 earlier known as the Kratos 400. As per images posted on the Bajaj’s official page, the company has already commenced production of the bike and the first batch has already rolled out yesterday. The bike rolled off the line was seen produced by an-all-women assembly crew. Since the production has begun on the top gear, it will be making it to the market by the mid of December this year.
The bike will be powered from Bajaj’s 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with Bajaj’s famous triple-spark plug technology. The official specification figures are still not out and as per speculations, the bike will churn out near 38bhp of maximum power and 23Nm of torque at peak. The engine will come mated to a 6-speed transmission. The company is also working on to introduce a refreshed MY17 line including all the 150, 180 and 220 models.

The bike is expected to be priced near Rs 1.8 lakh for ABS version and Rs 1.6 lakh for non-ABS version and will compete against motorcycles like the KTM 390 Duke, Mahindra Mojo 300 and Royal Enfield Himalayan.
