The iconic Italian luxury automaker, Piaggio Vespa has today launched its costliest scooter, the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani price is India is Rs 12,04,970 (ex-showroom Pune) . The scooter is launched for the celebration of 40th anniversary of the Giorgio Armani foundation and the 130th birthday of the Piaggio Group. Along with the sky priced 946, the company has also launched the Vespa 70th Anniversary Edition which is priced at Rs 96,500 (ex-showroom Pune).
Talking about the Emporio Armani edition, the scooter was first seen at the 2016 Autoexpo where its launch plans for the Indian market were first heard. The scooter comes finished in Vespa’s signature gloomy color palette synched with grey shades and subtle hints of green, these patterns are visible only in certain lighting effects.

The scooter is powered by a 125 cc forced-air cooled single-cylinder port-injected engine that generates 11.4bhp of maximum power and is paired with a CVT transmission. At the front, the scooter comes equipped with a 220 mm disc brake. When brimmed up its tank can hold up to 8.5 liter of fuel which is considerably good by all scooter standards. The Vespa 946 price in India might be too much for anyone to buy. Scooters such as these are too exclusive for daily use, they look better parked in the bedroom than any garage.
