On Tuesday, during mid-night hours an Isuzu D-Max V-Cross smashed into a Tata Safari Storme while overtaking at triple digit speeds. As a result, a popular Ollywood actor, who was traveling in the Tata Safari Strome, suffered several injuries and was admitted to a nearby hospital. The accident took place in the suburbs of Cuttack, when the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross lost control when overtaking other SUV.
As per reports, the driver lost control when a cattle came running in front of the vehicle and the driver smashed his Isuzu into the Safari when trying to avoid the same. The Isuzu was found upside down and in a badly ruptured state, while the Tata went straight into a tree. All the car occupants were badly injured but thankfully zero loss of life was reported. Actor Amlan Das, son of veteran Ollywood actor Mihir Das, was seated inside the Safari Storme, but he managed to come out of the accident with minor injuries.
As the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is an SUV and driving the same at triple digit speeds is not very favorable as it being a heavy pick-up truck, topples at sudden direction changes. These trucks are not meant for fast speeds, they are meant only for off-roading and other heavy load work.
