Piaggio has recently launched two new Moto Guzzi bikes in India including V9 and MGX – 21. The Moto Guzzi V9 will be available in two variants namely Roamer and Bobber. The V9 Roamer and Bobber are equally priced at Rs 13.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). Talking about the MGX – 21, it retails at Rs 27.78 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).
With the introduction of the two new models, Moto Guzzi’s Indian line-up now comprises of models including V9, MGX-21, Griso SE, Audace, California Touring Custom, ElDorado and California Touring 1400. The company sells all these models from the exclusive Motoplex showrooms present across the country in cities like Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kochi.
Talking about the V9, it is medium-size retro cruiser that comes in two variants namely Roamer and Bobber. It is one of the lightest motorcycles in the whole range and comes with its own visual appeal and distinctive styling. It powered by an 850cc twin-cylinder engine that is said to produce great low and medium range torque. It is packed with electronics such as an immobilizer, ABS, USB port and adjustable traction control.
The MGX-21 is propelled by a 1400cc V-Twin engine that generates 120Nm of peak torque and 96bhp of maximum power. The MGX-21 is a straight competitor to motorcycles like the Harley-Davidson Street-Glide and Honda Gold Wing.
