The Italian motorcycle maker, Benelli is looking forward to introducing its famous middleweight tourer TNT 600GT with ABS in December. The introduction of ABS will surely result in a price bump of around Rs 30,000 for the bike. Since ABS will be mandatory in India in the coming future (by 2018), the introduction of ABS is surely a good step towards safety.
Will the bike get anything new apart from ABS?
The bike is expected to remain the same and none other upgrades (apart from ABS) are expected to arrive with the new model. The bike will still run on the same 600cc engine that churns out 83.90bhp of maximum power at 11,500rpm and 54.6Nm of peak torque comes at 10,500rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Expected price of the 2017 Benelli TNT 600GT?
The bike will get a price bump of Rs 30,000 than the present units and hence will retail at around Rs 6.30 lakh.
The Italian bike giant will be coming up with two new motorcycles including Tornado 302R and the TRK 502. Both of these motorcycles will be equipped with ABS as a standard fitment.
