The green machine maker, Kawasaki has launched the 2017 Ninja H2 range in the country. The new Ninja H2 is priced at Rs 33.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the limited edition Ninja H2 Carbon is priced at Rs 39.8 lakh. The track-focused H2R is available at a whopping price of Rs 69.8 lakh all prices (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is the only motorcycle in the world that comes with a supercharger. The bike has been built around on a tubular trellis frame and has been designed to deliver blistering performance.
Which Engine it has?
Both the Ninja H2 and the Ninja H2R derive their power from a 998cc inline four supercharged engine. The Ninja H2 churns out 200bhp and 134Nm of torque, while the latter makes 320hp and 156Nm of torque.
No warranty for Ninja H2R?
The Kawasaki Ninja H2R is the track edition of the Ninja H2 and what that means is that it is only available for track usage. It is not road-legal (only for track purposes) and hence the company claims no warranty on the Ninja H2R.
Electronics package on the Ninja H2R?
The Japanese automaker is famous for equipping its bikes with the latest electronics wizardry and hence the electronics package has been updated for 2017. The bikes get a new six-axis IMU, traction control (3-Modes), launch control (3-Mode), quick shifter and engine brake control with KIBS intelligent braking system. Apart from that, the bikes are now also BS-4 compliant.
Technically there aren’t any straight competitors but they still do face heavy competition in the market with motorcycles like the Aprilia RSV4 RF, Ducati Panigale R, BMW S1000RR, Yamaha YZF R1, and the MV Agusta F4 RC.
