The iconic British motorcycle maker, Triumph Motorcycles will be launching the all new Bonneville T100 in the Indian market tomorrow. The bike was recently unveiled at the 2016 Intermot show in Germany.
The brand discontinued this bike some time back when T120 range was launched in India and now the updated version of the same will be launched in the market. T100 was the best seller in India before the most affordable bike in the Bonneville range, the Street Twin was launched in the country. After the launch of T100, the company will have three classic retro bikes in the range including Street Twin, T100, and T120. While there is also Thruxton range but that belongs to Café Racer category from Triumph Motorcycles.
The bike is propelled by the same 900cc parallel-twin liquid cooled engine. This engine is also seen on the Street Twin motorcycle. It churns out 54bhp of maximum power and peak torque of 80Nm
It comes loaded with electronics like ABS, switchable traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, USB charging, LED tail light and engine immobilizer.
Since the bike will be assembled here in India at company’s Manesar facility. We expect it to be priced at around Rs 7.8 Lakh.
