The Gurgaon-based motorcycle maker, Hero Motocorp. officially revealed they will be coming up with the launch of their flagship bike at the end of Dakar 2017. The company showcased the all new Xtreme 200S at the Autoexpo this year and confirmed it for production. The bike as seen has been given an overall bold stance.
It will be powered from the 200cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine generating 18.5bhp of maximum power and 17.2Nm of peak torque.
The Xtreme 200S is a brawnier version of the smaller Xtreme 150. Visually it has grown into a slightly bolder version of the same, while mechanically it now draws power from a bigger 200cc engine.
The bike is expected to deliver a fuel economy of 35km/lt to 37km/lt.
Being the flagship bike from Hero, it is expected to hit a price tag of Rs 90,000 to Rs 1Lakh.

There are many competitors for the Xtreme 200S in the Indian market such as TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar 200AS and KTM 200 Duke.
