Indian motorcycle market is expanding like anything. Earlier the market was limited to only two or three categories of motorcycles, but now many new brands have entered the market along with their own segment of motorcycles. The German marquee, BMW has been seen testing its G310 R based adventure tourer motorcycle. The new spy shot reveals the bike in a much detailed manner.
Talking about the design, the bike has clearly pulled inspiration from the bigger bikes in the BMW’s adventure series of motorcycles. With an extending beak up front and the stance of a proper adventure motorcycle, this new baby adventure will surely lure a big number of customers in India.
What about the engine and price?
The bike will house the same 313cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine from its naked cousin. The engine churns out 34bhp of maximum power, but we expect it to be tuned up for better output figures favoring its adventure factor.
The bike will be made in India at TVS’s Hosur based manufacturing facility and so we can expect a fairly decent price tag in India. When launched it will directly compete against the Royal Enfield Himalayan. We expect a price tag of around Rs 2.60 lakh on the same. Stay tuned for more updates.
